Mission Statement
The mission of the Rhode Island Nurses Institute (RINI) is to promote optimal health care for the citizens of Rhode Island by supporting and advancing the profession of nursing. RINI works in concert with the Rhode Island State Nurses Association (RISNA) to meet goals through fundraising, grant writing and stewardship of entrusted funds.
The Rhode Island Nurses Institute complements the work of the RISNA by raising funds and developing and managing grants.
Formation of Rhode Island Institute for Nursing
Dear RISNA Member,
The Rhode Island State Nurses Association is proud to announce the inception of the Rhode Island
Institute for Nursing or RINI, a non-profit organization developed by members of the RISNA board
and health care leaders. RINI's mission is to support the mission of the Rhode Island State Nurses
Association by promoting optimal health care for Rhode Island citizens through stewardship
of entrusted Funds and through philanthropy focused on outcomes that support and advance the
profession of nursing.

The Rhode Island Institute for Nursing is unlike any other nursing institute because of our distinct goals and initiatives. RINI is the first of its kind in Rhode Island. As members of RISNA, the institute will be your institute to help us develop and thrive as a successful organization. To make our goals a true reality we need your help.
