The mission of the Rhode Island Institute for Nursing is to support the mission of the Rhode Island State Nurses Association by promoting optimal health care for Rhode Island citizens through stewardship of entrusted funds and through philanthropy focused on outcomes that support and advance the profession of nursing.

The Rhode Island Institute for Nursing complements the work of the RISNA by raising funds and developing and managing grants.
